Lynn Reich, executive vice president with Colliers International | Chicago’s Industrial Advisory Group, and Lloyd Berry, senior vice president and director of operations with Colliers International’s Real Estate Management Services group, completed a 151,921-square-foot lease renewal and expansion to GE Aviation at 1354 Clifford Ave. in Loves Park. The building is currently in receivership with Berry serving as court appointed receiver.
GE Aviation, an operating unit of GE, is a provider of jet, turboshaft and turboprop engines, components and integrated systems for commercial, military, business and general aviation aircraft. GE Aviation has a global service network to support these offerings. The company was previously leasing 78,448 square feet at the property and has now nearly doubled its leased space to 151,921 square feet, the result of growing business unit requirements.
The building, originally constructed in 1953, is a 453,600-square-foot industrial plant composed of four distinct sections. GE Aviation has been a tenant at the property since 1978.
GE Aviation was represented by Brent Woodruff and John Gledhill of CBRE.
