The Wrigley Building has signed a new lease with global ideas shop and creative agency gyro Chicago. This rapidly expanding global agency will lease 13,200 square feet of space in the North Tower beginning June 2, 2014.
The move comes after a full custom build-out with the help of design firm Perkins & Will. Juxtaposed inside the historical architecture of The Wrigley Building, the space will feature a modern, creative and collaborative space for the award-winning agency. The design is reflective of what makes Chicago unique versus other global gyro locations. Inspired by Chicago’s historic architecture and natural beauty, key design elements will pay homage to the Second City’s iconic grid system, steel bridge construction, the Chicago River and the façade of The Wrigley Building itself.
“As our independent agency continues to expand in Chicago, we needed to find a space that can grow with us,” says Mike Hensley, executive vice-president, managing director of gyro Chicago. “The incredible downtown views, historic exteriors and modern interiors make for a truly inspiring and energizing place for gyro employees to do our very best work for our clients.”
Broker for gyro is Eric Feinberg with Studley. Brokers for The Wrigley Building are Carrie Bradley with Zeller Realty Group and Karin Kraai with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Chicago office.
