EnTrust Realty Advisors has hired Drakia Wilkins as Tenant Representation Associate. She will work with the executive team of the firm’s leasing division, EnTrust Tenant Advisors (ETA), to focus on representing entrepreneurial firms, including MBEs (minority-owned businesses) and WBEs (women-owned businesses), as well as non-profits and foundations in their real estate decisions. James I. Clark III, EnTrust’s Managing Principal, announced the new affiliate.
“This is an extraordinary time for emerging companies, especially MBEs and WBEs,” said Clark. “Minority-owned businesses are the fastest growing segment of our economy expanding at more than four times the national rate. Drakia’s analytical skills and business development prowess will be key as we develop relationships with entrepreneurial businesses, non-profit organizations and major corporations with Supplier Diversity initiatives who are actively seeking first-tier minority-owned real estate firms that can handle the complexities of their real estate strategy.” Wilkins started her career with Lawndale Christian Development Corporation, a non-profit organization dedicated to rebuilding Chicago’s Lawndale community. Later, she interned and trained with a number of internationally acclaimed firms, including Skidmore Owings & Merrill, CBRE, Duke Realty and Jones Lang LaSalle.
