The law firm of Firsel Ross is pleased to announce that Robert M. Silverman has joined the firm as a partner. In addition, attorney Christine S. Bolger has been named as a partner in the firm. Both of these experienced attorneys will provide legal services to Firsel Ross clients from the firm’s main office in Bannockburn, Illinois.
A real estate and commercial transactions attorney with Fortune 50 leadership experience in business technology, M&A, corporate governance, and intellectual property, Rob Silverman brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to Firsel Ross. Prior to joining the firm, he held a number of real estate and corporate legal leadership positions at Walgreen Co. including most recently Divisional Vice President for Community and Real Estate Law. In that capacity, he partnered with the General Counsel and upper level management in the formulation of business and legal strategies across multiple business units and geographies. His extensive legal experience includes issues of property acquisition and disposition, property leasing, sales and leasebacks, M&A due diligence, and a variety of other business and real estate related disciplines. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign and the Drake University Law School, Rob is active in professional associations and community organizations.
Christine Bolger, whose practice is concentrated in large and small commercial real estate transactions, has been an attorney with Firsel Ross since 2013 and has worked with both Michael Firsel and Michael Ross since 1998. She represents local and national clients in real estate transactions, including acquiring, selling, leasing, and financing real property located throughout the United States. She has experience handling multi-million dollar complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and financing of shopping centers, multi-family properties, vacant land, multiple parcel assemblages, industrial buildings, hotels, and manufactured home communities. Bolger also maintains a specialty in construction law, and advises clients on general corporate law issues. She holds degrees from the University of Illinois – Chicago and the Loyola University School of Law.
