Walker & Dunlop, Inc.’s Wisconsin team originated 125 loans totaling more than $1.3 billion during 2014.

Walker & Dunlop’s Wisconsin team, with offices in Milwaukee and Madison, has seen significant growth in the past year, increasing loan production by 64 percent over 2013, with 62 percent of the 2014 total production originated for properties within the state.

James Cope and Patrick Dempsey, managing directors, led the Wisconsin Walker & Dunlop team that originated the highest annual loan production volume to date by any one team in the Company’s history.

“Due to an increased appetite for commercial real estate both locally and nationally along with the low interest rates and an improving economy, the overall climate for commercial real estate transactions is strong and investors are very active in the Wisconsin market,” said Cope in a written statement.
