Brown Commercial Group, based in Elk Grove Village, IL, has completed 17,381 square-feet of leases in four suburban Chicago locations.
“These transactions show the continued strength of the suburban industrial submarkets,” said Dan Brown, principal with Brown Commercial Group. “Companies are more confident about expanding and are looking for longer term as they lease space, factors that bode well for businesses as well as landlords.”
The transactions include:
• A 3,500-square-foot industrial distribution unit at 101 Kelly Unit E in Elk Grove Village, IL. Trinity Scurto, Senior Vice President with Brown Commercial Group represented the owner while Brown Commercial Group’s Maria McNeil, Sales Associate, represented the tenant, TT Walters. The new tenant is a cabinet manufacturing company that needed the new space for expanding its business. Brown Commercial Group has now leased 7,000 square feet at 101 Kelly, reaching 100% leasing on the building.
• A 3,840-square-foot industrial storage unit at 10929 Franklin Avenue Unit T in Franklin Park, IL. Scurto represented both the owner and the new tenant, Devine Design and Events, in the transaction.
• A 5,880-square-foot space at 155 Easy Street in Carol Stream, IL. Mike Antonelli, Vice President of Sales with Brown Commercial Group, represented the landlord while United Real Estate Chicago’s Karyn Hilborn represented the tenant, Elite Air Inc. in the transaction. The heating and air conditioning company is expanding into a larger space at the new unit.
• A 4,161-square-foot space at 1706 Berkley Street in Elgin, IL. Dan Brown and Brian Lindgren, Sales Associate, represented the landlord, Berkley Court Properties, LLC. Chicagoland Commercial Real Estate’s Andrew Block represented the tenant, Hollywood Furniture. The tenant is moving its warehouse from another location in Elgin.
