Peak Construction Corporation was selected by Janko Group as Design Builder for the new Holiday Inn Express & Suites Galesburg, Illinois. Peak Construction broke ground in the beginning of January. IHG is rolling out a new prototype design for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites brand and the 3-story, 81 guestroom hotel will be one of the first new prototype hotels constructed to replace the existing Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Galesburg. The wood-frame structure, with EIFS and cultured stone façade, will feature a variety of room types, a fitness facility, an indoor pool, multiple meeting rooms, lifestyle lounge and business center. Completion is expected at the end of October 2015.
“It’s great to be partnering with both Janko Group and IHG again on this project. This is our third Holiday Inn Express hotel – we’re very happy that Peak can continue to provide quality facilities for our client and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites brand,” Peak President John Reilly stated.
The Project Team also includes Architect Ligthtowler Johnson Associates and hotel management services provided by Janko Hospitality.
