Kiser Institutional Group has announced treasury specialist, Jay Zukanovic, has joined the firm as financial analyst.
Previously, Zukanovic was treasury manager for Chicago-based Amsted Industries Inc., where he managed internal valuation models, ensuring the integrity of Amsted’s assigned stock price by a third-party financial advisor. He also constructed a multi-variable forecasting model to predict share redemption behavior by back-testing idiosyncratic and external market indicators through statistical analysis.
Prior to that, he was rotational development program analyst to global treasury, to senior analyst/ global treasury for Chicago’s Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. He repatriated $1.4 billion in foreign funds to the parent company via various channels, while simultaneously monitoring weekly liquidity for 80 Wrigley entities. Additionally, he managed Wrigley’s foreign exchange hedging program.
Zukanovic has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and earned his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in econometrics, economics, finance, and managerial/organization behavior.
