Ridgeline Property Group and its capital partner Cabot Properties, Inc., has selected Principle Construction Corp. to construct a 438,150-square-foot, class A, speculative distribution center at 16824 Enterprise Boulevard in south suburban Crest Hill, Illinois.
The building, which is situated on a 24-acre site, will include 32′ clear ceilings, 36 depressed docks with space for 40 additional docks if required by a future user, four drive-in doors, 164 trailer parking stalls and 318 spaces for employee cars. 3200 amps of power.
An ESFR sprinkler system will provide fire suppression. Truck maneuvering areas and trailer parking areas feature concrete pavement. Four main entrances will be constructed utilizing a combination of architectural curtain wall and punched window systems. Clerestory windows will also be installed to provide abundant natural light into the facility. Structural steel bay sizes will be 50′ x 52′ throughout with the speed bays extended to a depth of 65′.
Ken Lattanzi is serving as senior project manager, and Doug Brucato will serve as senior superintendent. Harris Architects designed the new building, marketed by James Estus and David Bercu of Colliers International.
The firm expects to complete the project by 4Q 2016.
