After demolishing what used to be a vacant office building, VanTrust recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the 6650 Building, their new, state-of-the-art, multi-tenant medical office building.
The 79,000-square-foot building will be located at 6650 West 110th Street in Overland Park, Kansas, located within the South Johnson County submarket.
Situated on 5.29 acres, the three-story building is a ground-up redevelopment that will house the new corporate headquarters and flagship imaging center for Diagnostic Imaging Centers, a premier, locally-owned, outpatient imaging provider.
“The interior of the building is being designed to increase patient comfort, allow easy access to all modalities, and will improve workflow efficiency for everyone,” said Ed Moore, CEO of Diagnostic Imaging Centers. Diagnostic Imaging Centers will be occupying approximately 42,000 square feet, leaving build-to-suit availability on the second and third floors.
The project, which has great highway visibility and easily accessible parking, is located on the South side of I-435 between Metcalf Ave and Lamar Ave.
The building is being constructed by McCownGordon Construction and completion is slated for Summer 2017. Architectural services are through Finkle Williams Architecture.
