Kraus-Anderson has completed Washington County’s Wildwood Library at 763 Stillwater Road in Mahtomedi, Minnesota.
The new $5.8 million library replaces the existing facility created to better serve the growing needs of the community.
Designed by Hagen, Christensen & McIlwain Architects, the new 12,500-square-foot library is 3,000 square feet larger than the libary’s former building, housing separate adult, teen and children’s areas that each open to spacious outdoor patios.
The new interior features a fireplace and large conference room, as well as several quiet breakout spaces for studying or reading.
