Indianapolis’ 16 Tech Community Corporation has inked a deal with Cushman & Wakefield to assist it in the development of pandemic operating protocols and procedures, ensuring safe and productive workspaces throughout the innovation district.
Cheri Shepherd, Cushman & Wakefield’s executive managing director of Asset Services in Indianapolis, said, “We’re excited to be part of the 16 Tech community. These are important times, and we’re confident that our firm’s worldwide expertise will aid the entire 16 Tech community as it prepares for tenant occupancy this summer.”
In addition to the COVID-19 guidance, Cushman & Wakefield will provide property management services for the 16 Tech Innovation Hub, a $23 million adaptive reuse project currently under construction in the 16 Tech Innovation District and scheduled to open in early 2021.
16 Tech is a $500-million, 50-acre development located along Indiana Avenue in downtown Indianapolis with a mix of office, creative, residential, and retail spaces in addition to green space and trails to foster innovation in tech, life sciences and advanced manufacturing.
The first 16 Tech tenants move into the district’s anchor building this summer. Also, this summer, the extension of Gent Avenue will be opened for vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic.
