JLL negotiated the sale of 512 E. 18th St. in Kansas City, Missouri, to Border Brewing Company. The microbrewery is relocating to the 6,483-square-foot inline retail site from its original location one block east at 406 E. 18th St. in Kansas City.
“I’m excited about this next step for Border Brewing Company, and ecstatic that we were able to find a location so close by,” said Eric Martens, owner and brewer with Border Brewing Company. “We’ll be expanding our operation while staying in the Crossroads Arts District in the heart of all of the breweries, distilleries and wineries that are here.”
Considered a Kansas City mainstay, Border Brewing Company was the first brewery taproom to open in the Crossroads district in the local trade area now known as Brewer’s Alley. Despite current market conditions because of COVID-19, Border Brewing continues to reach capacity and needed additional space to accommodate the demand.
JLL’s Anné Erickson represented Border Brewing Company in the sale and Keller Williams Key Partners’ Curtis Jay represented the seller.
