Academy Bank, a full-service community bank and wholly owned subsidiary of Dickinson Financial Corp., completed its merger with Kearney, Missouri-based KCB Bank.
The merger bolsters Academy Bank’s presence in Kansas City’s Northland communities — including Kearney, Liberty, and Gladstone, Missouri — and expands its presence in Bonner Springs, Kansas. The five KCB Bank locations were officially transitioned to Academy Bank by Oct. 21.
“Academy Bank’s merger with KCB is a good fit that enables us to establish our footprint in Kansas City’s Northland communities as part of our steady expansion across the metro area,” said Paul Holewinski, president and chief executive officer of Academy Bank, in a statement.
In addition to Smart ATM and mobile services for both personal and business clients, the merger gives all Academy Bank clients access to 25 locations across the metro are that now include four new branches in Missouri and one in Kansas:
• Academy Bank—Kearney, Mo. (950 W. State 92 Highway)
• Academy Bank—Kearney, Mo (100 W. 92 Highway)
• Academy Bank—Liberty, Mo. (110 S. Stewart Road)
• Academy Bank—Gladstone, Mo. (99 NE 72nd Street)
