The Shenehon Center for Real Estate at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business has opened nominations for the 2026 Minnesota Real Estate Hall of Fame.

Established in 2010, the purpose of the Hall of Fame is to honor, preserve, and perpetuate the names and accomplishments of real estate leaders who have made a significant contribution in real estate and demonstrated care and concern for improving their community as business leaders.

The basic criteria for acceptance into the Hall of Fame is outstanding business performance coupled with a high standard of ethics. Usually, the honorees are responsible for successful and/or innovative business activities and have made major life-long contributions to the industry.

Nominees must be retired from their primary job, at least 65 years of age, or deceased. They can represent any discipline within the real estate industry. Past inductees have included men and women who worked in a wide variety of areas including development, construction, brokerage, property management, appraisal, lending, and law. Many members of the hall of fame started or grew a business, leading it to extraordinary achievements, major transactions, and innovative projects.

Nominations for the Class of 2026 must be submitted by June 1, 2026.

If you know a distinguished leader who has made a lasting impact on Minnesota’s real estate industry, we encourage you to submit a nomination using the official form:
