Active Roofing Company will be celebrating its 50 years in roofing this month. The firm was established in 1965 in Chicago’s southwest side by Denny and Sandy Carolan.
Joe Carolan, commonly known as “Joe the Roofer,” purchased the company from his parents more than 10 years ago after he’d been selling roofs and managing crews there since he returned home from law school.
According to the company, Carolan and his team discuss the most strategic and cost-effective options with their customers that are catered to their circumstances.
The firm stills maintains the title of “certified applicator” with roofing manufacturers like Carlisle, Firestone, Johns Manville, GAF, Sika Sarnafil and Gaco Western.
