Adolfson & Peterson Construction started renovations to Chisholm Hall at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).
The $6 million project is currently underway and expected to be completed in July 2026.
Chisholm Hall, UTSA’s largest and oldest residence hall, offers some of the campus’ most spacious student bedrooms. The 120,860-square-foot residence hall features two fully furnished layout options, including double- and triple-occupancy rooms, supporting a dynamic and accessible on-campus living experience.
AP’s scope of work includes renovations across floors one through four, with construction now underway to deliver targeted upgrades designed to modernize building systems while enhancing resident comfort, efficiency and long-term durability. Improvements will include upgrades to resident bathroom vanity areas, installation of new acoustical ceilings and lighting, replacement of mechanical unit ventilators and hallway ductwork, activity chiller replacement and limited remediation work.
Chesney Morales Architects serves as the project architect.
