Apartment Investment Advisers (AIA) recently closed the sale of an apartment building in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood. The nine-unit building located at 1436 W. Blackhawk Street sold for $1,550,000, or $172,222 per unit.
The property was held under the same ownership for over 30 years, needed extensive renovations and was delivered vacant at closing. Mike Lindblad and Bill Cassin of AIA were the brokers involved in the sale.
