The Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE) has announced its officers and board of directors for 2011.
Corey B. Chase of Podolsky Northstar CORFAC International has taken the office of president. Last year’s president was Matt Rogatz of Chicago Industrial Real Estate.
The other officers for the 2011 term are John Gledhill, CB Richard Ellis, Inc., vice president; Thomas Boyle, Newmark Knight Frank Epic, secretary; and Chris Gary, NAI Hiffman, treasurer.
Members of the Board of Directors include Sergio Chapa, Lee & Associates of Illinois, LLC; Scott Duerkop, Jones Lang LaSalle; Brendan Green, Colliers International; Adam Marshall, CCIM, NAI Hiffman; Michael Prost, Lee & Associates of Illinois; Jason West, Cushman & Wakefield, Inc.; and Matt Rogatz, who joins the board in the capacity of immediate past president.
“As we begin 2011, I would like to think this will be a better year than 2010 for the industrial market, and for the economy as a whole, which in turn saw an improvement over 2009,” Chase said. “Certainly there are signs of progress, though there is plenty of room for further improvement.”
