Albion Residential closed on its construction loan for Albion West End, the company’s first development in the St. Louis market.

Financed by Pacific Life Insurance Company, the loan enables construction to begin immediately on the 30-story luxury residential tower, with completion expected in Spring 2027.

Albion Residential has partnered with leading design-build firm Clayco as the project’s general contractor. The tower is being designed by Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC), an award-winning architecture and design firm known for delivering innovative, community-centered urban spaces.

Located in the heart of St. Louis’ West End neighborhood, the development will deliver 305 luxury apartment homes and 1,700 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The project represents a significant investment in the city and is a partnership between Albion and Koplar Properties, a local development firm with deep roots in St. Louis.

A formal groundbreaking ceremony is planned for September 2025, though site work will begin immediately.
