Amazon Prime is opening one of its speedy, new services Nov. 16 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Amazon@Illinois, a fully staffed pick-up location and the first in the state of Illinois, will now be available to campus students, faculty and staff inside the Illini Union Bookstore, 809 S. Wright Street.
At approximately 2,200 square feet, the new space will allow the University of Illinois community to pick-up and return Amazon orders at the exact location. Additionally, Amazon Prime and Prime Student members can place free “same-day pickup” at the location if the order is placed by 11 a.m., and free “one-day pick-up” on orders placed by 10 p.m.
