Today, American House Senior Living Communities announced the acquisition of the Oak Crest Communities portfolio of campuses, which include independent living, licensed assisted living and licensed memory care services in West Michigan. The four sites are located in Holland, Spring Lake, Jenison and Kentwood, and include a total of 532 units. The campuses will be branded as American House communities once the transition is complete.
Dale Watchowski, president and CEO, American House Senior Living Communities and REDICO, a national real estate development and investment company, said, “The growth strategy of American House will take us throughout the Midwest, and recently into Florida with new developments in Bonita Springs, Estero and Ft. Myers. However, we want to continue growing in Michigan, our home market.” Watchowski continued, “In order to facilitate growth outside of Southeast Michigan, our strategy includes recent acquisitions in Charlevoix and Petoskey, in Northern Michigan, and earlier this year we acquired a senior community in Grand Rapids, Michigan.”
