Anchor Health Properties has been selected as the development manager of the Heart and Vascular Institute, a 39,000-square-foot facility on the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Edgewood campus in Edgewood, Ken.

The project, estimated to begin construction in November of 2014, will be a part of St. Elizabeth Healthcare’s $30 million investment in its existing cardiovascular program. The Institute will be an addition to St. Elizabeth’s main building and is located on the same property just off of the Thomas More Parkway.

The first phase of the project will include an upgrade of existing space as well as the addition of a hybrid operating room, cardiac MRI and specialty clinical space to St. Elizabeth’s Edgewood campus. In addition, upgrades will be made to existing spaces, including the building site and landscaping.

The institute is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2015.
