Apartment Investment Advisers (AIA) recently closed a 27-unit apartment building located at 5400 W. Madison Street, Chicago. Located in the city’s Austin neighborhood, the asset sold for $1,370,000.
Mostly comprised of two- and three-bedroom apartments, the property is half a mile from the CTA’s Green Line station and one mile from the I-290 expressway. Jack Cassin of AIA was the sole broker involved in the sale. This marks the 67th apartment building sold in the Austin neighborhood alone for Cassin, including over 1,500 apartment units.
