Apartment Investment Advisers (AIA) recently closed the sale of a 16-unit apartment building in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood. The property, located at 5847 W. Walton Street, sold for $1,030,000. Jack Cassin of AIA was the sole broker involved in the sale.
Built in 1929, 5847 W. Walton Street is less than a mile from the Austin Green Line “L” station. The West Suburban Medical Center and the North Avenue commercial corridor are also within walking distance.
