Apartment Investment Advisors closes two Chicago multifamily transactions

Apartment Investment Advisers closed two multifamily transactions in January 2019 in Chicago, one in the Lakeview neighborhood and the other in the South Shore neighborhood, according to Jack Cassin, managing broker, Apartment Investment Advisers.

The first transaction invloved a 13-unit building located at 1301 W. Cornelia Avenue in Lakeview. The asset, which was constructed in 1916, is two blocks from the Southport brown line train station and steps to southport retail, dining and nightlife. Bill Cassin and Jack Cassin of AIA brokered the $3,975,000 sale for. Separately, Mike Lindblad and Jack Cassin of AIA brokered the sale of a 40-unit building located at 6748 S. Crandon in South Shore for $2,800,000.
