ARCO recently partnered with Activate, a repeat client, to bring its first venue to the Kansas City region. The 11,684-square-foot live-action gaming facility is located at 6900 W 119th St. in Overland Park, Kansas.

It features a game hub, 11 individual micro arenas with specialty LED lighting and electronic flooring, a party room for the ultimate group gathering and more.

Activate Kansas City’s new state-of-the-art gaming facility welcomes players of all ages and skill levels, encouraging them to explore and create their own unique experiences. Here’s what to expect:

  • Guests can sign up in groups of two to five players.
  • Through progress tracking via Activate’s high-tech electronic RFID wristbands, players can rack up points, level up, and earn prizes along the way.
  • Top gaming rooms include the TikTok viral sensation Mega Grid with 500+ multi-activated rainbow-colored tiles, blasting the beaming bullseye in a game called Strike, and feel like a modern-day spy in the Laser room.
  • Play as a team in cooperative mode, or challenge your friends in competitive mode games.

Construction highlights include a full buildout of an existing strip mall space that includes a lobby area with waiting space, a break room, a game hub with individual rooms, a party room, a storage room, and restrooms. The state-of-the-art gaming facility includes specialty lighting throughout, electronic flooring, and custom millwork in the lobby area with LED trim lighting.

The Activate Kansas City facility marks the 9th successful collaboration between ARCO and Activate, with additional projects under construction nationwide.
