ARCO/Murray National Construction recently broke ground on a new 10-acre development that includes a 36,000-square-foot trailer repair and maintenance facility for Intermodal Maintenance Group LLC located at 5444 W. 73rd St. in Bedford Park.

Dan Smolensky and Reuben Rischall with The Modal Group represented the owner on the land purchase.

The facility improvements include drive-in service bays, five dock positions, parts storage mezzanine, drive-through canopy, back-up generators and 6,000 square feet of office. Exterior improvements include more than 100,000 square feet of concrete pavement for trailer parking and fuel filling stations.

ARCO/Murray’s Daniel Pratt and Joe Pomerenke managed the design and construction. Cornerstone Architects provided architectural design and Manhard Consulting completed the civil engineering for the project.
