The 13th annual Commercial Real Estate Forecast Conference from Illinois Real Estate Journal, Midwest Real Estate News and Chicago Industrial properties is coming up. If you haven’t marked your calendar, do so: The big event is Jan. 20 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
And if you need more evidence that this is a big-deal conference? Just check out this story on The Broker List blog promoting the conference. As the story says, this conference is the largest and longest-running commercial real estate event of its kind in Chicago. There’ll be plenty of networking opportunities plus insights from the biggest names in commercial real estate.
A focus this year will be on technology and its role in Chicago real estate. And this is key: After all, technology companies are playing a huge role in the commercial development of such hot Chicago neighborhoods as River North, the West Loop and Lincoln Park and close-in suburban markets.
The forecast event will kick off, in fact, with a conversation between Shawn Mobley of Cushman & Wakefield and Howard Tullman, chief executive officer of the 1871 tech incubator that is now expanding in Chicago Merchandise Mart.
The forecast will be held from 7 a.m. to noon Jan. 20 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago at 151 E. Wacker Drive. You can click here to register for the big event.
