A bright future for the commercial real estate industry?
That was the consensus from the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors June 14 real estate conference, Changing Gears: Insight Into Our Industry.
According to the speakers at the event — not to mention the vendors promoting their services during the conference’s marketplace — commercial real estate activity is on the rise throughout the state of Indiana.
This is good news. And it’s not rare. Commercial real estate professionals throughout the Midwest are saying the same thing: The commercial real estate industry is in recovery mode.
It’s true, of course, that the commercial real estate recovery isn’t as strong as we’d all like. But you can’t ignore the positive signs, whether it’s the optimism among the attendees at the Indiana conference held at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis, or whether its brokers in Omaha, Cincinnati, Milwaukee and Kansas City reporting that deal activity in their markets is on the rise.
