Aviation expert Joseph Romano joins Syska Hennessy’s Chicago office

Joseph Romano, PE, has joined the national aviation practice of Syska Hennessy Group. Based in the global engineering firm’s Chicago office, he serves as associate practice area director and associate partner, supervising multi-disciplinary teams for aviation projects in the central region.

Romano has more than 15 years of experience. He spent most of his career at Epstein in Chicago, most recently as associate vice president and chief electrical engineer. During his tenure there, he worked on a number of projects at airports around the country, including O’Hare and Midway in Chicago, MCI in Kansas City, Lambert International in St. Louis and Orlando International Airport.

He’ll play a key role in our collaborative national aviation team, helping to drive project execution and deepening relationships to continue to accelerate growth and outcomes in one of our fastest growing practice areas.”

Romano received a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. A registered professional engineer in 22 states, he serves as a board member for the Electric Association and its Consulting Electrical Engineers division.
