Avison Young arranged a lease of about 20,000 square feet across two units of industrial space at 900 W. Cermak Road in Chicago to Bento, Inc., a subsidiary of the Wonderfield Group, on behalf of a private, local owner.
The units were recently occupied by Foxtrot, which extensively renovated the facility for use as a commissary kitchen. The lease term has begun and Bento, Inc. is occupying the space.
The property owner, 900 C LLC, was represented by Avison Young Principal Steven Kohn, SIOR, and Jay Maher, Senior Vice President. Newmark represented the tenant, Bento, Inc.
Aside from the existing infrastructure, Bento was attracted to the proximity to downtown Chicago, the extensive network of nearby interstate highways, public transportation, and a talented workforce.
