Global commercial real estate advisor Avison Young arranged a full-floor, 41,929-square-foot office lease on behalf of NinjaTrader Group, LLC at 222 N. LaSalle St. in Chicago.
The lease expands the fintech company’s footprint within Chicago for the third time. In 2021, NinjaTrader left 6,471 square feet in River North to take 19,581 square feet in 222 North LaSalle, then expanded by 6,626 square feet in 2023, and now will occupy the full fourth floor.
Avison Young assisted with each transaction, including NinjaTrader’s initial move in 2021 from 6,471 square feet at 363 W. Erie St.
NinjaTrader was represented by Avison Young’s Chris O’Leary and Jeff Lindenmeyer, both Principals. The landlord, 222 NLS Properties, LLC, was represented by Tishman Speyer.

The property at 222 N. LaSalle contains a total of 1,018,838 square feet within 27 floors, offering high-end amenities, four restaurants, and proximity to the Riverwalk. NinjaTrader’s expansion within the building will help meet its rapid growth and goals of prioritizing employee culture and work environment.
