Avison Young announced that it has negotiated a 11,600-square-foot industrial warehouse sale at 4447 W. Armitage Ave. in Chicago’s Hermosa neighborhood.
Avison Young Principal Steven Kohn, SIOR, and Associate Patrick Richwine represented the seller, Pac Team Group, an East Coast business that was using the building as a satellite warehouse. This is the second industrial building sale the team has completed in recent months in the Hermosa neighborhood. The first sale was a 100,000-sf three building sale at 4006 W. Belden Ave., approximately one mile from the Armitage location.
The buyer, Joel Oppenheimer, Inc. was represented by JLL.
“There continues to be tremendous interest in Chicago’s infill industrial market, as companies look for buildings with proximity to the city’s major transportation corridors ,” says Richwine. “The Hermosa area of Chicago is ideal for these types of businesses, as it offers small to mid-sized sites within established communities of industrial occupiers.
