Avison Young brokered the about $1.03 million sale of a single-tenant retail property occupied by Dollar General at 1510 E. Carpenter Road in Flint, Michigan.
Avison Young principals Chris Maling and David Maling and principal and managing Director James Becker represented the seller, Michigan-based Maplewood Partners, LLC. The team also procured the buyer, a Minnesota-based family trust.
“This property offered the buyer a corporate-guaranteed lease with nine years remaining, and four five-year options to renew,” said Maling. “Essential needs, discount retailers like Dollar General have proven to thrive over this pandemic crisis and provide investors with a solid income stream.”
Renovated in 2019, the 9,774-square-foot property is situated on 1.1 acres.
