Avison Young represented Molto Properties in the sale of 3411 Woodhead Drive, a 117,000- square-foot industrial building in Northbrook, Illinois.
Located in the Sky Harbor Industrial Park with frontage on the Edens Spur, the newly renovated building sits on 4.71 acres with 20-foot clear-height ceilings, new mechanical systems throughout, six interior docks, two drive-in doors and 168 parking spaces.
Since starting the operation in 1957, Atlas Fibre has become the world’s largest manufacturer of turned and precision ground rod used in industrial applications, including mechanical and electrical engineering.
Avison Young Principals Brett Kroner and Keith Puritz, as well as Eric Fischer, a senior vice- president in the Chicago office, represented the seller Molto Properties in the transaction.
Dan Pendergast of Darwin Realty represented the buyer, Atlas Fibre Company. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
