Avison Young has appointed Brian Kelley managing director of the company’s St. Louis office. Kelley has been a principal with the firm since 2018. ‘
He is taking over leadership from Tim Convy who opened the St. Louis office in 2016. Convy will remain with Avison Young as a principal.
Kelley will be responsible for Avison Young’s day-to-day operations in St. Louis as well as aiding in the company’s expansion in the Midwest. Focus areas will include enhancing the collaborative culture within the St. Louis team, building long-term client relationships, recruitment and talent retention.
In addition to his duties as managing director, Kelley will continue to serve clients in a brokerage capacity which includes retail, office, industrial and investments. During his career, he has closed more than $300 million in real estate transactions and is consistently ranked as a top producer.
Kelley is well-known in the St. Louis community and was recognized in 2019 as a “Top 100 St. Louisan to Know to Succeed in Business” by St. Louis Small Business Monthly.
He also volunteers as the Allocation Coordinator for the Community Investment Team for United Way.
A licensed commercial realtor in Missouri, Illinois and Kansas, Kelley holds a master’s degree in business administration from Webster University in addition to a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arizona State University.
