Avison Young is representing Panera Bread as it moves its headquarters to The 1400 Building on the Maritz Campus at 1400 S. Highway Drive in Fenton, Missouri.
Avison Young Principal Steve Schmid and Managing Principal Rick Dames, based in St. Louis, represent the tenant, Panera Bread. The landlord, Maritz, is represented by David Biales of JLL.
Currently headquartered in Sunset Hills, Missouri, Panera Bread will now occupy 72,000 square feet of The 1400 Building. The new location’s amenities, including conference rooms, auditorium, fitness center, walking trails and ample parking, were major influences and factors in Panera’s decision to relocate.
Panera Bread’s St. Louis headquarters supports more than 650 associates.
Four miles from Panera’s current headquarters, The 1400 Building is conveniently located in Fenton on the south side of I-44, and two miles west of I-270.
Panera Bread has an anticipated occupancy of mid-2023.
