Avison Young has been awarded the exclusive sale listing for the Eyecare Service Partners Surgery Center and Medical Facility in Chicago’s south suburban market. The 21,000-square-foot building, located at 1700 East West Road in Calumet City, Illinois, is 100 percent leased to a national physician group, Eyecare Service Partners, based in Dallas.
Avison Young principals Mike Wilson and Erik Foster, who are both based in the company’s Chicago office and members of the firm’s national health care capital markets group, are representing the owner. Avison Young associate Pat Wilson, a medical leasing specialist in the Chicago office, and Avison Young principals Chip Ryan and Jim Kornick, who are based in the Washington, D.C office, will be assisting in the transaction.
“Long-term leased, single-tenant medical office facilities continue to garner very strong interest from investors,” said Wilson. “This property is a long-term critical asset for a national credit health care tenant—a factor which further drives value.”
Eyecare Service Partners is one of the largest eye care services companies in the United States. The company recently purchased Midwest Eye Center, a dominant health care system in Illinois. The building includes a surgery center and medical offices serving ophthalmic surgical procedures.
