Baker Barrios Architects adds two leaders to Chicago, Nashville offices

Baker Barrios Architects, a multidisciplinary architecture and design firm, made two new additions to its leadership: Chris Powers as Associate Principal and Director (Healthcare); and Mark Kluemper as Associate Principal and Technical Director (Multifamily) for the firm’s multifamily and mixed-use practice teams.

Powers is based out of the firm’s Nashville office, while Kluemper is located in the firm’s Chicago office.

According to Baker Barrios co-founder and CEO, Tim Baker, these roles support the firm’s continually growing national portfolio of business.

Powers brings more than two decades of experience in planning, design and construction in the healthcare sector, including serving as the Senior Director of Design and Construction for HCA Healthcare.

Kluemper has over 30 years of architectural experience in all facets of design, documentation, and project and personnel management. He most recently served as Director of Architecture with KTGY Group and Managing Director for Chicago-based OKW Architects.
