Nick Eboli and James Planey, SIOR of Lee & Associates recently closed out leasing contracts for all 137,000 square feet of a new, spec industrial building at 1200-1270 Douglas Road in Batavia, Illinois. The building, built by Morgan / Harbour Construction for a local owner/developer, was completed in February 2018.
Focus Logistics executed a lease for 62,000 square feet in January of 2018 and in August of that year, Cast Aluminum Services signed a lease for 25,000 square feet. This past February, CS Packaging leased the remaining 50,000 square feet.
“The developer’s team and city staff worked diligently together, expediting the building planning, permitting, construction and inspection approvals to deliver each tenant space in a highly satisfactory manner for all parties,” said Batavia’s city administrator, Laura Newman.
