B&B Theatres has begun construction on a seven-screen luxury movie theater in the New Longview commercial area of Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
The new theater will feature stadium-style seating with leather reclining chairs. Each auditorium will feature digital project, while select ones will rely on the latest 3D film technology.
The theater’s concession stands will include expanded hot-food items, self-serve drink options and self-serve candy choices.
New Longview is a mixed-use commercial and residential development located on the site of the historic Longview Farm, originally built in 1914. M-III Longview took over as master-developer in 2013, and has been working with Box Real Estate Development and NAI Heartland on the development of the remaining commercial sites within the district.
