Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp., a leading provider of commercial real estate financing and capital markets expertise, has hired Bear Cheezem as an associate in the firm’s Chicago Oak Brook office, according to Charles Krawitz, MMCC’s central region vice president.
In his new position, Cheezem will be responsible for securing commercial debt financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, manufactured housing and hospitality. He will be primarily focused on clients based in Illinois and throughout the Midwest.
“We are pleased to have Bear join our Chicago Oak Brook office,” says Krawitz. “His commercial real estate knowledge and experience will be of great value to our clients.”
Prior to joining MMCC, Cheezem served as a principal and project manager with Buckbay Development. He is a graduate of Clemson University, where he earned a master’s degree in real estate development.
