BEAR Construction Company (BEAR) announced 11 projects at 30 N LaSalle Street to support the repositioning of this important Central Loop asset. This series of projects suggest a larger trend of investment in repositioning the Central Loop overall – and BEAR is at the forefront of creating this trend. BEAR will bring decades of experience to build out nine ready-to-use tenant spaces called spec suites and two restrooms and wellness rooms.
Pre-built spaces known as spec suites are a key focus of this repositioning. Each space will be move-in-ready for tenants’ convenience, and construction plans for a variety of sizes, layouts, and schemes to fit a wide-range of business models. Spec spaces allow accessibility to numerous businesses and have seen a high success rate in the market.
BEAR will shortly deliver 10 new spec suites at 30 N LaSalle, including suites 1526, 1700, 1728, 1750, 2040, 2270, 2400, 2624, 3650, and 3200. Of these, two have already been selected by tenants and are now leased. A restroom and wellness room will also be added to floors 17 and 32. The largest of the spec suite build-out will be suite 1700, at approximately 10,000 square feet.
