Bel Rae Senior Living, a new senior living community in Mounds View, Minnesota, is celebrating its grand-opening June 20.

The $14 million, 107,000-square-foot development at 2330 County Highway 10 is the only senior community in Mounds View serving those with Alzheimer’s and memory loss.

Built by Nottingham Construction of Stillwater, Minnesota, and designed by Bloomington, Minnesota-based Kaas Wilson, Bel Rae Senior Living offers seniors a variety of housing solutions, providing services for those who want to live independently to those who need extra care. The three-story senior community features 98 apartments: 66 independent senior and assisted living apartments and 32 private memory care apartments.

The senior community is owned and developed by Stillwater-based Hearth Development and is managed by Ebenezer Management Services, which provides daily operational and management services.  The new senior community is the third partnership between Ebenezer and Hearth Development.

Bel Rae Senior Living features chef-prepared meals, heated underground parking, two-story fireside lobby, movie theater, café, salon and spa, library, private dining room, guest suite, community room, craft room, work shop and fitness center.  The senior living community also plans to weave the famous history of the ballroom into interactive music and dancing activities for its residents.
