Bellwether Enterprise has successfully acquired Capital Advisors in a strategic combination of the businesses.
The acquisition adds more than $1 billion in annual loan volume and $1.75 billion in servicing to Bellwether Enterprise, and brings the firm’s total annual loan volume to more than $4.5 billion and its servicing portfolio to $10.2 billion.
As part of the transaction, the principals of Capital Advisors received an equity stake in the newly expanded Bellwether Enterprise, and Capital Advisors’ 31 current employees have been retained.
Capital Advisors, which has been in business since 1994, is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Capital Advisors has formally taken on the Bellwether Enterprise name, and its business practices and quality of service in all of the regional locations will remain the same.
