Colliers International represented BenchPrep in a 15,000-square-foot relocation to Willis Tower at 233 S. Wacker Dr. in Chicago, Illinois.
Christine Torres, vice president at Colliers International’s Downtown Chicago Office Advisory Group, represented BenchPrep in the company’s expansion. Maggie Brophy and Jamey Dix with the Telos Group represented the ownership in this lease transaction.
BenchPrep’s 40 employees will relocate from a loft building located at 328 South Jefferson Street to Willis Tower. The new space at Willis Tower more than doubles the company’s existing square footage, as the company also expects to double its headcount.
The iconic 110-story Willis Tower is currently undergoing a $500 million renovation which will add amenities for building office tenants as well as new restaurants, entertainment and retail space. Willis Tower is owned by Blackstone, a private equity and real estate investment firm, and its Chicago affiliate, Equity Office Properties.
