Berkadia recently negotiated the sale of La Casa Estates, a 97-unit multifamily complex in Elkhart, Indiana.
Chris Bruzas and Alex Blagojevich of Berkadia’s Chicago team listed the property and completed the sale on Aug. 30. The seller was The Romney Group out of Holladay, Utah. The buyer was a private family office based out of Illinois.
La Casa Estates is a 100-unit, garden-style apartment community. Built in 1970, the property consists of 10, three-story buildings with brick exteriors and pitched roofs with composition shingles. The property also contains three commercial spaces adjacent to the property’s office.
