Berkadia provided the financing for the iMed Naperville Medical Office Building, a property in Naperville, Illinois.
Director Patrick Abeln of Berkadia Medical & Life Sciences secured the acquisition financing on behalf of the borrower, Chicago-based MCB Science + Health. The deal closed on Sept. 6.
MCB Science + Health is a subsidiary of MCB Real Estate that acquires and develops properties nationally across life sciences, medical office, and seniors housing. The company has been involved in over $20 billion transactions spanning 31 states.
Located at 1331 W 75th Street, the property is conveniently located in the western suburbs of Chicago and is located within minutes of five major hospitals including Endeavor Health Edward Hospital, Rush-Copley Medical Center, Northwestern Medical Center, Advocate Good Samaritan, and UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook.
The iMed Naperville Medical Office Building is a four-story, 96 percent leased, 72,000 square foot Class “A” medical office building that features an attractive and synergistic mix of tenants, convenient covered patient drop-off and pick-up, and adjacent surface parking for approximately 300 vehicles.
