Big-D Companies has promoted Cory Schubert to the role of president of the Big-D Construction Midwest office in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Schubert’s promotion comes not long after the 10-year anniversary of the office’s opening, for which Schubert was an integral team member, then in the position of Vice President of Preconstruction. A decade later, Schubert has remained invaluable in Big-D Construction Midwest’s rapid growth in Minnesota, Michigan, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
Since its opening, Big-D Construction Midwest has built over 5,000 housing units and won more than $1 billion worth of work.
A graduate of Northern Iowa University with a degree in Construction Management, Schubert has been involved in Minnesota construction circles for nearly two decades—excluding a four-year stint working in Seattle. After opening the Big-D Construction Midwest office in 2013, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2016. In 2022, he was named the office’s Sr. Vice President and Managing Director.
